Overview

After joining ADB in 2003, Palau—an archipelagic microstate in the Northwest Pacific—was reclassified as one of ADB's Pacific developing member countries on 16 December 2005. ADB enjoys a strong relationship with the government, its Congress, civil society, and the private sector, providing policy and economic advice on a range of issues affecting Palau's long-term sustainable development.
