Overview

ADB is helping Timor-Leste as it rapidly builds its economy and social and physical infrastructure. Support is guided by the Country Partnership Strategy 2011-2015, which is aligned with Timor-Leste's Strategic Development Plan 2011-2030. Under the five year strategic partnership, ADB will support infrastructure development, financial services, and the skills training needed to meet the needs of a growing economy. ADB will  also help TImor-Leste integrate with Asia, and will support the private sector so Timor-Leste can make the transition from a public-sector led economy. Capacity development will remain central to ADB's engagement.
